NATO helicopter crash in Afghanistan kills at least 1

USPA News - A NATO helicopter on Saturday crashed in southern Afghanistan, killing at least one soldier, officials said Sunday. The International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) confirmed the accident and the death of the service member, stating that initial reports indicate there was no enemy activity in the area at the time of the crash.
Media reports said the helicopter crashed with two people on board in the district of Daman in Afghanistan` southern province of Kandahar at around 6 a.m. local time. While no details were disclosed by ISAF, it launched investigations into the accident, which comes less than a week after another helicopter operated by the NATO-led security forces in the same district and province. In Monday`s accident, ISAF said at least five coalition troops had been killed.
