USPA NEWS - The President Hollande announces the opening 7 days out of 7 from the Louvre and Orsay and Versailles. This measure forms part of the policy of Fleur Pellerin to promote access of the majority culture and strengthen the arts and cultural education. The project presented by the Minister of Culture.

The project presented by the French Minister of culture, Fleur Pellerin, is focused on the national artistic and cultural education system. It reserves the 7th day of opening the academic and extracurricular public, public social field or with disabilities, so they have the opportunity to benefit, beyond the other days and for all those who wish to privileged access. During school holidays, this day dedicated will, in addition, to accommodate public leisure centers.rsay, Versailles et le Louvre, qui comptent parmi les musées les plus célèbres au monde, participent à cette première expérience. Ils ouvriront leurs portes à ces publics le jour de leur fermeture dès l´automne, le lundi pour les deux premiers et le mardi pour le troisième. This expansion opening will improve the material conditions of reception and teaching of these three museums and a major lever diversification of audiences.------------------------------------------------------------The museums will propose a specific course and mediation. Additional staff will be recruited for the reception, monitoring, reservation management, but also, which is important, design and support of pedagogical projects. The device will be soon an agreement between the Ministry of Culture and Communication and the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research.
